With extensive experience in Capital Markets and Sustainable Finance, Natasha joined FAIRR in August 2024 as Interim Director for Thematic Research and Corporate Innovation.

Natasha oversees FAIRR's thematic investor engagement in areas such as antimicrobial resistance, protein diversification, biodiversity, and climate. She also leads cutting-edge research in these fields.

Experience

With extensive international experience in capital markets and sustainable investing across Europe and North America, Natasha is a seasoned leader with a strong focus on climate and nature-related investing, investment stewardship, good governance, and climate finance.

In her most recent role, Natasha successfully built and led the active ownership program for one of Canada’s largest asset managers, Mackenzie Investments. There, she played a pivotal role in operationalising the firm-wide Climate Action Plan and developed a comprehensive Corporate Engagement program aimed at reducing GHG emissions across global investment portfolios. Additionally, Natasha spearheaded the creation of the firm’s first ESG proxy voting strategies and led the design and implementation of a proprietary technology platform to support the recording and data storage of engagement activities and outcomes.

With a deep understanding of the intersection between public policy, financial regulation, and global capital markets, Natasha excels at analysing and interpreting environmental and financial regulations, translating them into financial risks and opportunities. Passionate about sustainable finance - spanning Blue, Green, and Carbon finance - Natasha is deeply committed to driving long-term economic and social change for the benefit of all life on Earth.
