Sajeev joined FAIRR in 2023 as the Senior Technical Specialist across the Climate and Biodiversity workstreams. He supports investor members and agri-business to assess financial risks and opportunities for net-zero and nature-positive transitions.
Working at FAIRR
Sajeev provides technical expertise across FAIRR on strategic decision-making, thematic research, and collaborative engagements. He sits on high-impact climate and nature expert working groups and disseminates FAIRR’s research at events and conferences.
Recent examples of Sajeev’s work include FAIRR’s thematic reports on Climate and Nature Solutions and Regenerative Agriculture. Sajeev has also worked closely with the FAIRR biodiversity team on the Waste & Pollution Collaborative Investor Engagement.
Experience
Sajeev is an experienced leader and agri-food sector specialist with over 15 years of experience working with investors, corporates, consulting firms, think tanks, and academic institutions. He has previously worked for South Pole, Carbon Trust, Rothamsted Research, and the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT). Sajeev has published peer-reviewed journal articles and reports, contributes to shaping corporate standards and policy, and supports the world’s largest investors and agribusinesses on their climate and nature commitments.
Sajeev holds a PhD in Environmental Systems, an MSc in Agricultural Economics, and an MEng in Environmental Engineering. He is currently based in London but has lived and worked in Austria, Germany, The United States, and India.
