Fiona joined FAIRR in October 2022 as an ESG Analyst working within FAIRR’s Protein Producer Index. Her current work is centred on assessing and benchmarking companies against FAIRR’s Index methodology, with a focus on Climate, Water Security and Alternative Proteins.
She holds a BSc in Physics from Cardiff University and an MSc in Climate Change: Environment, Science and Policy from King’s College London. During her master’s, Fiona focused her research on global sustainability challenges in the agri-food sector. Her dissertation modelled the impacts of Sino-Brazilian soy supply chains on biome-level deforestation and emissions risk, as well as on biodiversity intactness. She brings experience from working in a scientific communications agency and conducting research for the UNEP-WCMC.
