Held during World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) and using a One Health approach, this expert session will highlight new evidence and key progress against antimicrobial resistance (AMR) from the human, animal and environmental perspectives, and offer a progress update on behalf of the Initiative’s investor partners.
We will present the latest research into antimicrobial stewardship in the animal health industry from the FAIRR Initiative’s Feeding Resistance report as well as new research from the ATMF’s 2021 Antimicrobial Resistance Benchmark, which will examine the actions of pharmaceutical companies.
A panel of experts from the investing, policy and industry worlds will discuss progress in stewardship, access and innovation and highlight areas where alignment can build and sustain the pace of action to tackle AMR’s threat to our global health and economy.
