As an experienced project manager, Marné manages the delivery of the Coller FAIRR Protein Producer Index, focusing on process, people, and stakeholder management.
She also plays a key role in implementing strong project management processes for upcoming benchmarks.
Marné worked as an energy analyst and consultant for IHS Markit, Mott MacDonald, and the Westwood Group. Working in the energy sector did not correlate with her convictions, and she consequently sought greener pastures and a mission-driven career path. She went on to manage a project that advised MasterCard on market entry strategies for its personal payments platform, and then a national pro bono programme for the UK property sector's charitable foundation. Before joining FAIRR, she worked for Oxford-based Climate Outreach, managing its £1mn+ Climate Engagement Initiative that advised governments on developing and implementing public engagement strategies.
She holds degrees in B(PolSci) in Political Science, BA(Hons) in International Relations from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, and an M(Phil) in International Relations from Cambridge University. Marné is a certified project manager, a member of the Association for Project Management, and a trained negotiator.
