To mark COP16, this October, in Cali, Colombia, FAIRR is delighted to host a one-of-a-kind evening, bringing together investors to explore the connections between food, finance, and biodiversity.
This invite-only event, held under Chatham House rules, will feature a private tour of the Jardín Botánico, guided by Maria Clara Dominguez, Director of the Fundacion Zoologica de Cali, who will give us a deep dive into this cradle of biodiversity nestled in the Valle del Cauca, followed by a dinner and roundtable discussion at the neighbouring Hacienda del Bosque, one of the Valle’s historical landmarks since the nineteenth century and today a world-class gastronomical hotspot.
The evening will offer a unique platform for senior investors from various regions to engage in transformative dialogue about the vital role of biodiversity in the global food supply chain, along with the specific challenges and opportunities it presents, a truly interactive occasion, with focused discussions on topics such as reporting mechanisms and TNFD, establishing nature investment policies, and innovative financial strategies for nature and biodiversity.

Transportation: A private shuttle bus will collect the party from a designated meeting point within the grounds of COP16 at the Centro de Eventos Valle del Pacifico, to escort us throughout the evening, and return each guest to their accommodations at its conclusion.
